Collage, Mixed Media Painting “MEADOWLAND” by Colorado Artist Carol Nelson

I love the work of Richard Diebenkorn. He often painted to what looked like aerial views of the landscape. Although this painting didn't start out that way, it ended up looking to me like an aerial view of farmland. Several collage papers were used to provide textures. This painting comes with a black floater frame.

Fall into Winter is my favorite time of year, and I paint these with great excitement for the holiday season. I have collected seasonal paintings from some of my favorite artists, and I love to bring them out each year. It's like a dear friend coming to visit!
