This is a
wonderful glimpse into the Rocky Mountain National Park. If you haven’t visited,
put it on your bucket list. There is one scene after another which will take
your breath away! I struggled with the title for this painting, but I had to find
a title that would really give the space meaning. Thanks to all of those who made suggestions on
my Facebook page. I think “Sacred Space” wraps a lot of your suggestions into
one. This will be entered into the National Greeley Show next month—keep your
fingers crossed that it is selected to be in the show.

This painting has recently won two
awards. It took a First Place award at the Adam’s County Fair Fine Arts Exhibit
and the Judge’s Award at the Paletteers Art Club, Inc. Member Show at
Westminster, CO City Hall.
I used Wallis sanded paper as the
ground and a mix of soft pastels. This painting is a gem. It looks wonderful on the wall and
really catches the eye due to its unusual subject!
This painting is matted and
framed, ready for hanging. Although, if purchased matted but unframed, the
shipping would be less. It will fit in a standard-sized 11” x 14” frame.
