September Light - SOLD - Original Colorado Landscape Oil Painting by Carol Hein

Fall is my favorite time of year. The light in Colorado pours from the sky, shadows lengthen and colors seem to vibrate. I stumbled upon this beautiful little farm about a year ago ago and returned last September with a group of plein air painters. It has been abandoned but the Colorado Historical Society is in the process of restoring it.

I used Wallis sanded paper as the ground and a mix of soft pastels. This painting is a gem. It looks wonderful on the wall and really catches the eye!

This painting is matted and framed, ready for hanging. Although, if purchased matted but unframed, the shipping would be less. It will fit in a standard-sized frame.
