FRESH OFF THE EASEL

This geologic abstract has intricate color blends of sage green, soft yellow-green, gray-violet, olive green, turquoise, burnt orange, blue-gray, and golden brown. The actual paints I used were Golden fluid acrylics: Turquoise Phthalo, Van Dyke Brown, Permanent Violet, Transparent Red Oxide, Quinacridone Nickel Azo Gold, Green Gold, Raw Sienna, Paynes Gray, Dioxazine Purple, and Titanium White. It is wired to hang as a vertical or horizontal presentation.

Mixed Media Aspen Tree Art Painting "Fall Aspen Grove" by Colorado Abstract Artist Candace French

Playful experimentation inspired this work. I used lots of layers, revealing and concealing the aspen. You may see the feathering of colors before the aspen come into view. I love aspen because they have such a strong root system in how they support one another while growing.

This is an acrylic painting on 1.5 inch deep gallery wrap canvas. The edges are painted and it is ready to hang. It is signed on the front and back and varnished with a matte finish. Free local delivery in the Denver Metro area. Please contact me for shipping information to all other destinations.
