Driving
south to Salida, along the Collegiate Range, I couldn't help but notice
the houses nestled below the foothills and mountains. This was during
the fall, the colors were just beginning to turn, and I wondered, what
would it be like to live down in that valley? This question will never
be answered, as I have no plans to move anytime soon, but to me it's the
sort of place that so many visitors to Colorado just dream about
owning!

Well,
we quickly went from fabulous Fall to wild Winter here in norther
Colorado! Whew! Why do changing leaves just need to be red, yellow,
orange or brown? Why not aqua or turquoise? Huh? Had fun, fun and
more fun with this one -- check out the real leaves pressed into the
paper....

Yesterday was another spectacular, warm fall day. We've been having one of the most beautiful falls. More colors than we normally have in Colorado. I walked down to the park to paint.
