Another piece in the series of Interstice - Monochrome works, this piece incorporates the idea of Interstice - the space in between.  Inspired by the concept of contrasts, the black and white reinforce and define each other.  The play of edges shows the morphing into and out of the lines.  The graphite adds a sheen to the wax that adds texture to the piece.
